Aid for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

Dear citizens,

We, the team of the GUTE ZWECK LADEN Schmelz, Hoher Staden 13, also want to help actively and unbureaucratically. Together with the German Red Cross and the owner of EFES Kebab in Hüttersdorf, we want to support a relief action.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!!
Our storage capacity for winter textiles has been reached at the moment!!!
Please do not drop off or bring any winter clothing in front of the GUTE ZWECK LADEN for the time being.
Currently we need durable food and hygiene items. If possible, these should be delivered packed in a cardboard box. Contact person for an appointment outside opening hours is Christiane Görgen Tel. 0176-45256754.

Of course, we also continue to accept monetary donations, which we use for targeted purchases for people in need.

Dear fellow citizens of our beautiful community of Schmelz.

You all know that due to the war in Ukraine, women and men joined forces to set up a help and contact point for Ukrainian refugees. This resulted in a great project, which subsequently developed into a real treasure for the people in need. At this point, we would like to thank all the donors, because without these donations in kind and money and without the men and women who work voluntarily, whether in the "GUTE ZWECK LADEN" itself or in the administrative area, such a project would never be possible. We now want to develop this project further and have decided to expand the "GUTE ZWECK LADEN" for ALL people who are in need.
